Welcome to the library catalogue of the Sheffield Sling Surgery and Library! We are based at the Snug, 71 Leadmill Road, S1 4SE, next door to the Sling Spot shop, which is open 10-2pm Tuesday to Saturday.

We have a very large lending library serving local families in Sheffield and via post around the UK. We are happy to offer support and guidance in person, and we provide short, free online appointments with one of our experts to discuss your needs. This is very helpful if you’re not decided on what is best/will fit/be most comfy!

If you wish to reserve a carrier you can do so by logging into your MyTurn account. Find the carrier you wish and click ‘Reserve’. Once dates are submitted we will authorise and process your order. You will be emailed when your item is ready for collection or posting. 

If you wish to extend your current hire please email us at hires@sheffieldslingsurgery.co.uk or reply to your hire reminder email.

Terms and Conditions of hire are here; we do not charge a deposit to hire, but lost or damaged slings must be replaced.

Slings can be returned to the library drop in sessions or to the Sling Spot shop, where you can buy your own carrier (don’t forget to use your hirer discount). They can also be posted back (we recommend using a tracked insured service.)
